Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes what AreaCodeAtlas does with visitor information. It is written to match what is actually installed on this site at first launch: WordPress, the Kadence theme, Rank Math SEO, and LiteSpeed Cache. No analytics tool is connected yet, no account system is offered, and no advertising or tracking tool is installed for this policy to describe. If that changes, this policy will be updated before the new tool is relied on.
What the site collects in normal operation
When you visit the site, WordPress and the web server handle the visit in the usual way, which can include standard server logs such as the page requested and a general technical record of the visit. The site does not ask you to create an account, and it does not ask for your name, address, or phone number to read its pages. The area code lookup tool runs in your browser: you type a code or a number, the tool reads only its first three digits, and it returns the region, state, and time zone for that code. The tool does not identify who owns a number, and it is not designed to store the numbers you enter.
Cookies and third parties
WordPress, Kadence, Rank Math, and LiteSpeed Cache may use technically necessary functions to serve pages and to cache them, but this site does not set advertising cookies and does not run a third-party analytics or advertising service at first launch. Links on this site go to its own pages and to the NANPA search tool named on the methodology page; this policy does not cover what another site does after you follow an outbound link, and you should check that site’s own policy.
Your choices
Because no account system exists, there is no account to delete and no marketing list to join. You can use your browser to block or delete cookies, although blocking technically necessary functions may affect how pages load. If you contact the site through the contact page, the message you send will be used only to answer that message. No claim is made in this policy about compliance with any specific privacy law, because no such compliance review has been completed for this site. The policy states only what the site actually does, as described above.
